its about time, i blogged about this. (:

First day, 14122009

arrive at the airport. We spend like an hour waiting for Amanda's luggage to come. I was so scared, that it went missing HAHA. Then we met the driver and our tour guide, Hany. She's nice. and OMG, that airport seriously needs air-conditioning. After that, we went to Ancol to have dinner and we met up with some of Daddy's friends. Ancol is something like Sunway Lagoon. Suddenly, during the dinner, there were fireworks. Then, BAM. There goes the electricity. So basically we're beside the ocean/lake/river, eating with no electricity or light. Except this little candle -.- But it was all good, after a while, so we headed back to the hotel to get some rest.

Second day, 15122009

We had to wake up so early, ishh. haha. First up, we visited Jakarta's national museum and suprisingly, I liked it. I thought it would be boring and stuff. but it was fun. Idk why, on that day, practically all the school's had their school trip there or something. So, it was literally crowded with students. Teenagers there, dont really hang out in malls, like us here. They hang out in museums. Yup, believe it or not. according to what i saw lah. after that, they brought us to this mall, Mangga Dua. which was right across our hotel. I didnt really enjoy that mall, honestly. It was scary. haha and it was FILLED with people. But nothing can beat the roads in Jakarta, OMG ppl drive like crazy over there. It was like India. Every car was so close to each other. Literally millimeters away from each other. Then in the night, we went to Grand Indonesia Mall, to meet my dad's friend and his family. I LOVE that mall. It was waaaay waayy better. haha. Then they had this fountain show thingy. It was cool. (:

Third day, 16122009

We were off to Bandung. It was more of a road trip. We spent like 3 hours on the road. Finally when we got there, they brought us to like this Outlet called Rumah Mode. It was supposedly the most famous outlet there. It was okay, it was something like FOS but bigger. Then we went to this cafe to eat, and it was so nice. HAHA. The view esp, the cafe was on top of this hill, so it was pretty chilly. After that, it was more shopping. Outlet's after outlets, because they were all in a row. So we walked. Later on, went back to the hotel, rest a bit. Then we went to this restaurant called Kampung Daun. This was further up a hill, so it was more chilly but, the atmosphere was AWESOME. The whole idea fr the restaurant was like, cabanas and huts. Lots of greenery.

Fourth day, 17122009

OH OH, we went to this place called 'Tangkupan Perahu', if im not mistaken, when was a volcano shaped of an upside down boat. It was also the source of sulphuric waters. The view up there, was awesome and misty. There were ppl selling stuffs. Quite nice lah. But there were ppl walking and selling stuffs, and they likt literally follow you to your car. OMG, so annoying. they wont give up. My mum will literally give in after a while, so we had to pull her away -.- Then we headed to the Hot Springs. The water there made my leg itch, pssssffttt. We later went to this strawberry place to have lunch, and that place also offers flying fox, dirt bikes and stuff.
I wanted to try the flying fox so badly, but daddy was so scared something was going to happen, like he didnt trust the equipments there. So, Amanda and mummy ended riding the dirt bikes. HAHAHAH Seriously, that was funny. In the night, we went to the Paris Van Java mall, and met up with Ashley and Bhavani. (:

Fifth day, 18122009

Mum wanted to shop so badly, so she told the tour guide to take us to more malls -.- seriously, for the first time in my life, i was TIRED of shopping. HAHA. So, after that we were on the road back to Jakarta, and mann, was it a long road. i slept the whole way through. But before actually reaching Jakarta, Ashley told our tour guide to take us to this safari. We couldnt make it for the day one, so we tried for the night one. He said, it was an experience not to be missed. So, okay lah. That place another one, on top of the hill. So, it was cold. SERIOUSLY COLD. after lining up for an hour, it was around 7 something, that we went in with this like train cart thingy. Thank god we were one of the first there. The whole journey was exhilarating yet scary. But seriously, i loved it. (: there were explosions here and there, to make it more fun. (: i wanted to take a pic with this cheetah, but like it started getting really violent with this boy, so i chicken out. HAHA.

Last day, 19122009

Since it was the last day, we decided to rest, wake up late and etc. Dad's friend brought us to this hotel/mall, for some Taiwanese food. The mall, for christmas, the theme was Spongebob and friends. LIKE LITERALLY. it was so cuteee. (: Pictures are on Facebook. We said our goodbyes, and off we headed to the airport. Eventhough our flight was delayed, we reached home safely. Thank god.

Old times,

well , i spent saturday catching up with friends. (: oh i miss that.

and i finally watched 2012 ! HAHAH its so nice. i enjoyed that movie.

oh yeah, i was late. again. sorry, Yasmin. and Evelyn.

but after, we met up with Maegan,

walked to ikano and watch Bernie perform.
the christmas carolling was so sweet. Then instead of shopping ( as usual ), we decided to have a late lunch or an early dinner. whichever. So we spent hours catching up, as we havent seen each for like weeks, haha. (: its was nice. and amazingly, we didnt even cam-whore. HAHA maegan said she only took 1 picture, and the picture was me, looking extremely blur. that picture is officially banned. so, then all of us had to leave, so i met up with mum and sisters and Ohmy, did they shop. haha. Suprisingly my mum was in a generous mood, should she bought me some stuff too. yeayy. Mainly stuff for our trip.

btw, Curve was decorated beautifully. i took some pictures though. (:

and Cineleisure had this movie fest thing, and there were Alvin and the chipmunks mascots. So cute lah. but im scared of those stuffs. So, i took a picture. Enjoy !

Past events .

well, for the last weekend, my family and I, went back to Johor for my grandfather's death anniversary. Its his 2nd year. So, we decided to make it into a really fun road trip. Unfortunately, we left really early in the morning, that all of us ended up sleeping on the way there. Except my dad, who was driving. HAHHA i pity him. So, just when we reached there, we had to rush fr church. It started at 9, and we only reached there at about 9.30 and it hasnt even started. (:

SO, okay lah. It was really weird cause like no one told us that the mass was in mandarin. All of us, except my mum was standing there like awkward shit. HAHAH imagine my dad. He said, he was the only indian there. Amanda and I, looked like malays. At least, my mum and Sam managed to blend in. To top it of, we were late. The whole church was filled with ppl. When we walked in, all EVERYONE was staring at us O: HAHA i couldnt help but laugh off the embarassment. HEEEE

So, after mass and the huge embarassment, mum's family wanted to bring us somewhere to eat. The journey to that place was long, like around 20 minutes. So, we thought, what lah. It was a nice place, since they;re taking us this far. The RESULT, OMG. A BLOODY Foodcourt. I saw the signboard of the restaurant, was that it was a foodcourt. I literally CRIED. hahah. Im the type of person who dislikes HATES food courts. IDK whyy, but yeah. Ask anyone. So, no choice lah. I had to follow, I couldnt possibly wait in the car -.- Frankly, THE PLACE WAS HORRIBLE. OH OH, believe it or not, i ALMOST left my phone there O: Thank god, my dad spotted it. OH, silly me.

Then we headed to the graveyard to say few prayers for my grandfather. The journey to the graveyard reminded me of the journey to my church camp. MEMORIES :D haha, i found out that even my grandfather's grandfather was buried there. (: AND my mum's "TWIN" [ Long story ]. So, literally generations from my family was buried there. Thank god, the sun was nice. HAHA it wasnt so hot. After visting that place, we went back to my grandparents house, stayed the night, and left Johor the next day. (:

Conceived by means of in vitro fertilization, Anna Fitzgerald (Abigail Breslin) was brought into the world to be a genetic match for her older sister, Kate (Sofia Vassilieva), who suffers from acute promyelocytic leukemia. Because of her sister's dependency on her, Anna is unable to live the life she wants; in and out of the hospital constantly, she cannot take part in extracurricular activities such as cheerleading or soccer. When Kate turns 13 she goes into renal failure. Knowing that she will have to donate one of her kidneys to her sister, Anna sues her parents for medical emancipation and the rights to her own body. Attorney Campbell Alexander (Alec Baldwin) agrees to work for Anna pro bono. The film is interlaced with flashbacks that detail the strong relationship between Kate and Anna, as well as how Kate's illness has affected her siblings' lives. Before the result of the case is known, it is revealed that Kate had asked Anna to file for medical emancipation. Believing that she would not survive the surgery, Kate wants to die. Anna wins the case, and due to her sister's wishes does not donate her kidney. Kate later dies at the hospital. The family moves on with their lives, being changed by Kate's death, but every year on Kate's birthday they go to Montana, which was her favorite place in the world.

The story follows the life of 13- year-old Anna Fitzgerald, who enlists the help of an attorney, Campbell Alexander, to sue her parents, Brian and Sara Fitzgerald for rights to her own body. Kate Fitzgerald, Anna's older sister, suffers from leukemia, and their parents conceived Anna through in vitro fertilization to be a genetic match donor for her sister Kate. Anna donates genetic material throughout her life, including blood and bone marrow for her sister. Their parents want Anna to donate a kidney to Kate after she goes into renal failure, but Anna instead files a lawsuit against her parents for medical emancipation from her parents despite the consequences of her sister's health.

Her parents, Brian and Sara Fitzgerald, have different reactions to the law suit. Brian has mixed feelings whereas, Sara feels that Anna should donate the kidney to save Kate's life. Sara is a lawyer turned housewife and decides to represent herself and her husband in the suit. She continuously attempts to get Anna to drop the suit, but Anna refuses and moves out of the house and into the fire station where her father works.

After Kate's cancer diagnosis, Jesse Fitzgerald, Brian and Sara's oldest child, grows up to be a troublemaker involved in alcohol, drugs, theft, and arson. Throughout the book an arsonist frequently sets fires in the area, a problem for Brian and his colleagues. After following the clues, Brian discovers that the arsonist was Jesse. Following which, Brian confronts Jesse and learns how badly Kate's illness has affected him. Brian vows to keep Jesse's arson a secret. Jesse eventually straightens himself out later on becoming a police officer.
The judge at the hearing, Judge DeSalvo, is a parent who lost his 12-year-old daughter in a drunk-driving accident. The guardian ad litem assigned to Anna as her representative is Julia Romano, an old girlfriend of Campbell's.

Campbell and Sara bring in their witnesses and battle over whether Anna is mature enough for medical emancipation. Julia, who is supposed to deliver a report about who she thinks should win, is undecided. Anna, who has refused to testify, is the last witness to speak. She reveals that Kate told her that she did not want Anna to go through with the transplant. Which was why Anna filed the lawsuit. The judge decides in favor of Anna and gives Campbell medical power of attorney over her.

Anna dies in a car wreck soon after she is emancipated from her parents. Her kidneys, and other organs, are donated to Kate, and other patients that might need them.

Kate believes that the reason she survived is because someone had to go, and Anna took her place. She grows up to be a dance instructor and whenever she'd missed her sister, she'd look at the scars from the kidney transplant and believe she took Anna wherever she went.

Ps : See how different the ending between the movie and the book is ?

honestly, i preferred the ending in the book, as its more exciting. Rather than the usual cliche happy ending, in this case not so happy. If they would have followed the book, the movie would be better (:

so, yesterday.
we decided to go out for dinner. and we went to bubba gump. you know they have those, signs where if you want to call them, you have to flip over the sign from 'Run Forrest Run' to 'Stop Forrest Stop'. so, while the lady was explaining to us, i saw my dad looking around sneakily, and within like 2 seconds, he flipped the sign. then suddenly, the lady popped out and was like, 'Yes, Sir ?' and my dad was like, Oh just testing. HAHAHA. mygod so embarassinggg. then then, he lied to the lady, that we were from Switzerland. and the best part is, she actually believed it ! :) then, that lady said, she'll give us free drink if we tell her who was the lead female character in the movie, Forrest Gump. so, she said she'll give us 5 mins. as soon as she went away, we used the internet and checked. but it was so slow, she came back. and she caught us. -__- so, she gave us another puzzle. damn LOSER. the second puzzle was she put 6 small straws into 2 triangles, and asked us to make it to 4 triangles by moving only 1 straw. so, okay lah. we tried, and tried. and failed, miserably. and y'know what was the answer ? she move one of the straw frm one triangle, and made it into a number 4. so, 4 triangles. i told you, Loser right ? haha. yeah, then we makan makan. so, my dad wanted to take revenge lah, cause she tricked us. so, he used the straws and tissues and he did something lah. but he didnt tell us the answer .
here's how it went ;

Daddy ; solve this puzzle. you can bend any straw, tear the tissue whatever, blow, spit, whatsoever, BUT you must formed the word GUMP. im gonna give you 1 minute. GO !

Waitress : okay, sir. nevermind. i give up.

Daddy ; so fast ? you didn't even try.

Waitress ; yeah, sir. *giggled*

Daddy ; okay, let me show you. * he pretended to bend some straws, tear a bit of the tissue, then suddenly, he pulled the tissue and all the straws away, and there underneath was the word GUMP, which was originally printed on the table. * -___________-

waitress ; * HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA*

all of us : we laughed, and we stared at daddy. :)

oh, this was probably the hardest PAPER ever. chemistry was usually the easiest compared to the rest. but this was plain hard. stupid youu.

oh, this was nice. i think i actually expressed how i was feeling rather than writing an essay. but it was good to let things out. sorry, pn su. :)

it was okay, i guess. the essays, i cant remember lah.

it was hard. as you can probably guess. i left out a question or two. i literally crack my brain trying to answer those questions.

suprisingly, it was quite easy. and i dont normally say this. : HAHA. it was even easier than chemistry. :O
